“News Break”:
I get my news from News Break which is app that gives me news information around my area/nationally. It also shows a good amount of stories that I am also interested in. I scroll through the headlines like social media and just look at the story that just catches my attention. It also sends me notifications on my phone which i enjoy because usually it is something that I can use. Especially because I am someone who doesn't watch the news often just because everything is online. I have been using this app since my junior year in high school so this app has been my almost go to for news. This app has more than 50 million monthly users.
Like most teenagers I use instagram. I feel like everything you want and see is on instagram especially because it is a platform a lot of people use. As of 2025 instagram has 3 billion active users with 61 percent of that being teenagers. Meaning that this platform has such an easy access because instead of looking on your television screen you can just open the app on your phone and just start scrolling. With that being said you can follow news outlet platforms on instagram such as ABC ,CBS, Fox, NBC, and CNN. For me being an avid sports fan I follow sports pages such as CBS Sports, ESPN, Overtime, Sports Center, and March Madness. I trust these networks because they have social media administrators that post what they here or see from these news/sports outlets. I find this very useful especially because I don’t really watch television unless there is a sports game on.
